These years are critical to building foundational skills. There is a large focus on the basics of reading, writing, grammar, speaking, listening, and spelling.
  • Our program focuses on reading, writing, grammar, word study, and handwriting all in one streamlined program
  • Each course is broken down into thematic units. Each unit contains workshops where reading and writing are connected to reinforce big ideas
  • Students are exposed to a variety of genres and formats of literature
  • Writing workshops focus on exposure to learning about grammar, usage, and mechanics and then apply those skills within the writing process
Students can expect to learn different methods to practice and master math concepts at their individual pace. During these years we focus on problem-solving and using multiple ways to find solutions.

Spotlight on Music

At EVA we believe in promoting the fine arts. Music can be a powerful outlet for many of our students. Musical education transcends beyond playing or listening to music. It also is an important tool in brain development, human connection, and coping with stress and anxiety.
