High School Programs
Dual Credit
Earn college credit for FREE to get a head start and save on college tuition.
Motivated Juniors and Seniors can earn both high school and community college credit at the same time through our Dual Credit partnership with Southwestern Oregon Community College. Credits earned through the program satisfy high school graduation requirements — plus they will transfer to all Oregon public colleges and universities and typically transfer to private and out-of-state institutions as well.
- Tuition is FREE to EVA students
- Courses are taught by EVA instructors
- Dual Credit course offerings in Math, English, Business, Science, and Early Childhood Education

Expanded Options Program
Eligible high school juniors and seniors can earn college credit at local community colleges
The Expanded Options Program (EOP) allows public high school students to take courses at local community colleges through partnerships with Evergreen Virtual Academy. As a community college student, you can begin earning college credits while still in high school and apply college coursework to high school graduation requirements.
The tuition, textbooks, and class fees are paid by the school district. Students and families are not charged.
Funding and availability of classes are limited. Priority will be given to students who would most benefit from the college experience opportunity and credits which include students who may need financial assistance to attend college or those who would be first-generation college students.
To participate in the Expanded Options Program, you must:
- Be enrolled in high school with Junior or Senior standing and be at least 16 years of age at the time of enrollment.
- Complete the Expanded Options agreement by May 15th of the current school year to be eligible for courses the following school year.
- Be on track to complete course requirements for graduation.
Other requirements are listed in the EOP Handbook.

CTE: Career and Technical Education

CTE helps students begin to think about their future and gain experience to prepare them for a successful career after high school. The program spans career awareness, career exploration, career preparation, and career training within an industry pathway. Some pathways are also eligible for free college credits through our Dual Credit program!
Credit Recovery
Get back on-track for graduation by recovering credits from failed courses
Student success comes first at EVA and our innovative Credit Recovery program is a great example. Credit Recovery classes help students recover credits from courses so the students can stay (or get back) on track to graduate within a four-year high school timeline.
