High School Programs
Driven by student need & designed just for you
Our high school programs are designed to give students the best possible high school experience. Each year, we survey students about their interests and needs. That feedback directly influences the programs we offer. We’re proud to offer unique programs to support our students and set them up for success in the next phase of life.

Expanded Options Program
Eligible high school juniors and seniors can earn college credit at local community colleges
The Expanded Options Program (EOP) allows public high school students to take courses at local community colleges through partnerships with Evergreen Virtual Academy. As a community college student, you can begin earning college credits while still in high school and apply college coursework to high school graduation requirements.
The tuition, textbooks, and class fees are paid by the school district. Students and families are not charged.
Funding and availability of classes are limited. Priority will be given to students who would most benefit from the college experience opportunity and credits which include students who may need financial assistance to attend college or those who would be first-generation college students.
To participate in the Expanded Options Program, you must:
- Be enrolled in high school with Junior or Senior standing and be at least 16 years of age at the time of enrollment.
- Complete the Expanded Options agreement by May 15th of the current school year to be eligible for courses the following school year.
- Be on track to complete course requirements for graduation.
Other requirements are listed in the EOP Handbook.

Credit Recovery
Get back on-track for graduation by recovering credits from failed courses
Student success comes first at EVA and our innovative Credit Recovery program is a great example. Credit Recovery classes help students recover credits from courses so the students can stay (or get back) on track to graduate within a four-year high school timeline. Credit Recovery Coursework is offered every Fall and Spring semester, and occasionally during Summer term.
